There are many legends associated with Dartmoor,a wild and lonely place-idyllic and charming when the sun shines but the mood can change dramatically almost within minutes if the weather takes a turn for the worse and the place can take on a dangerous and forbidding feel; mists can descend and completly envelope one sometimes making the path you have taken impossible to find,panic ensues and the mind begins to imagine the stories you were told of people getting lost miles from civilisation and of flights of fancy concerning ghosts,pixies and demonic hounds..read on and all will be revealed
